My name is Dawn and I’m from South Dakota. Whether I am training or competing, horses are my passion and Farrier’s Formula has earned my respect in case after case. Below are two photos of horses with very different stories, but with the same successful ending….

Bones is a 10 year old registered Paint that began to lose his competitive edge. X-rays discovered initial changes in the shape of his navicular bone. Even though this gelding had very healthy feet, this diagnosis required him to need a significant amount of heel growth to increase his angles. In addition, we needed to accelerate his overall hoof growth to accommodate the frequent resetting of his heart bar shoes. My veterinarian and farrier recommended Farrier’s Formula and without a doubt this product delivered exactly what my horse needed. Bones continues to perform competitively and stay sound with the help of Farrier’s Formula.

Candy is a 7 year old registered Quarter Horse that spent the early part of her career on the race track. By the time she came to me she had mastered the art of cribbing and was very thin. Her general poor condition contributed to her hooves sporting quarter cracks, thin walls and contracted heels. Again I turned to Farrier’s Formula and the help of my farrier with a corrective shoeing program. Within a very short period of time this little mare was growing a healthy hoof and eventually joined the competitive ranks once again.

Not every horse is born with perfect feet and every knowledgeable horse owner can agree, “no hoof - no horse”. I have no doubt that neither of these horses would be sound, nor competing today if not for Farrier’s Formula.
